SVARGA BIOGRAPHY
Unfortunately, there are 2 bands of the same name at this time. The word Svarga comes from Sanskrit. In Slavic religion Svarga is Heaven, the residence of god Svarog.
The russian Svarga plays pagan folk metal. They released one full-lenght album Ogni Na Kurganakh (2005) and one demo Cherez Myortvuyu Reku. Masha, vocalist of russian folk metal band Arkona, was also guest vocalist on Ogni Na Kurganakh album.
The ukrainian Svarga plays melodic NS black metal. The released one full-length album Simvol Voli (Symbol of freedom, 2003) and 3 EPs so far. Some of band members are also founders and owners of Rarog Productions.
