Man Of The Hour are a Heavy Metal Band pure and unadulterated, but occasionally the pure Heavy Metal sound of Man Of The Hour is mixed with influences from other types of music such as Thrash Metal, Death Metal, Doom Metal, Power Metal, Bay Area Thrash Metal, Old School Heavy Metal, N.W.O.B. Heavy Metal & Rock n Roll into a style of music Man Of The Hour like to describe as Heavy Metal. Man Of The Hour were forged in Edinburgh March 2003 with the intent of playing Heavy Metal and have done so ever since Musically Man Of The Hour draw their influences from Heavy Metal bands such as Manowar, Judas Priest, B.L.S., Thor, Iron Maiden, Pantera, Black Sabbath, Anthrax, Cathedral, High On Fire & Sabbat, creating a heavy riff based sound filled with duelling lead guitar solos and ear splitting screams that is best described as Heavy Metal Skull Orchard is the title of Man Of The Hours self produced debut LP on their own More Energy Records label. Skull Orchard is 12 tracks and just over an hour in length of Heavy Metal. Skull Orchard was self produced & financed by Man Of The Hour and recorded on old school 24 track analogue tape in the dressing room of their spiritual home, the Studio 24 nightclub in Edinburgh. As well as supporting known acts, Man Of The Hour have gigged extensively throughout Scotland headlining 2 tours of their own, and have also brought their Heavy Metal music south of Hadrians Wall to their English Heavy Metal Brothers & Sisters many times. Man Of The Hour entered the Sony/Columbia talent scouting Emergenza competition, winning the Scottish Final at the Carling Academy in Glasgow & Earning a place in the UK final at the LA2 in London July 04. Man Of The Hour were the only Heavy Metal band in the entire competition to reach either final. Man Of The Hours stage show includes Swords, Maces, Skulls, Shields, Pagan/Voodoo Robes & Thrones to accentuate the Heavy Metal music with a true Heavy Metal performance.
